Defying Decay are one of Asia’s most ambitious and internationally active heavy bands — a hyper-pop metal act from Bangkok blending crushing riffs, electronic sound design, and pop-leaning hooks into a sound built for global stages.
Their touring résumé spans Asia, Europe, Russia, and the US, where they’ve supported heavyweights including Motionless In White, Of Mice & Men, Born Of Osiris, Ice Nine Kills, Skindred, Atreyu, and Saosin. Their latest work, including the crossover single “Clouds” featuring Violette Wautier, marks the start of a bold new era ahead of their 2025 full-length album.
Defying Decay bridge modern metal, cinematic electronics, and melodic pop sensibilities — creating a sound that stands apart from both traditional metalcore and mainstream alt-pop.
